Activate and Deactivate Information Structures 

Prerequisites

Activate

Select Archive Information Structure > Activate from the menu to activate an information structure. This structure will now be filled automatically during the next delete run for this archiving object.

You can also fill an activated information structure later for already existing archives, see Fill and Empty Information Structures.

Deactivate

Choose Archive Information Structure > Deactivate from the menu to deactivate an information structure

You have deactivated the information structure. This ensures that during the next archiving program delete run this information structure will be ignored.

You can make changes to an inactive information structure. However, if you make changes, be aware that you might also have to regenerate the table. When doing this, you must delete the data in it. Finally, you must refill the information structure.
