Unless otherwise defined in the report, the Report Writer prints the text that you enter in your sets when you use the sets in report row/column blocks. You can enter text for reports in the text fields on the Create and Change Set screens for basic sets, key figure sets, single-dimension sets, and multidimension sets.

For basic sets, you can enter text for each line of the set in the Short text of set line field on the Create Set: Basic Entries screen. If you then use this set in a row or column block, text appears describing the values for each set line that includes text. If you do not enter set line text, the Report Writer uses the text from the appropriate master files.
The Report Writer uses the set header text as the description for the corresponding subtotal. You can enter text for the set name in the Description field on the Create and Change Set: Header screens.

In key figure sets, you can enter text for each line of the set in the Short text of set line field on the Create Set: Basic Entries screen. If you then use this key figure set in a row or column block, text appears describing the values for each set line that includes text. If you do not enter text for a key figure set line, the Report Writer uses the text from the predefined column.

As with basic sets, you can enter set header text in the Description field on the Create and Change Set: Header screens.
For single-dimension sets, you can enter set header text in the Description field on the Create and Change Set: Header screens.

For multidimension sets, you can only enter set header text in the Description field on the Create and Change Set: Header screens. When you use a multidimension set in a report row block, the set header text appears as the heading for the lead column.
