Setting Screen Templates for the Notification Type 

Use

You can now adapt your notification type to meet your individual needs. You opt for the tab page technique. You create one (or optionally 2) tab pages, name them and assign an icon.

You now set the screen areas for the IDES Notification 1 tab page.

Procedure

  1. On the Customizing: Execute Project screen, choose Set Screen Templates for the Notification Type.
  2. Position your cursor on the Notification type field, then choose the F4 input help.
  3. Select the entry M4, then choose .
  4. Choose .
  5. Choose New Entries.
  6. Position your cursor on the Tab field, then choose the F4 input help.
  7. Select the entry 10\TAB01 Notification 1, then choose .
  8. Enter the following data:

  10. Position your cursor on the Icon field, then choose the F4 input help.
  11. Position your cursor on the icon ICON_HEADER, then choose .

  16. In the dialog box, choose .
  17. The system confirms that the data has been saved.

  18. Choose .
  19. You can leave out the register header and decide just to assign an icon. If you would like to do this now, you need to create another tab strip. If you do not want to do this, continue with the next process step Assigning the Number Range for the New Notification Type.

  20. Choose New Entries.
  21. Enter the following data:

  25. Choose until the Customizing: Execute Project screen appears.

Result

You have now adapted your notification type to meet your individual needs. You have created 2 tab pages, one with name and icon, the other with icon and without name.

For the first tab page, you still need to create a screen area on which it can be displayed.
