Assigning the Number Range for the New Notification Type 

  1. On the Customizing: Execute Project screen, choose Define Number Ranges.
  2. Choose Groups.
  3. In the Not assigned area, position your cursor on notification type M4, then choose .
  4. Select the number range object Maintenance notifications.
  5. Choose Element/Group.

    6. The notification type is assigned to number range object Maintenance notifications (internal).

  6. Choose .

    7. Read the contents of the Transport Number Range Intervals dialog box.

  7. Choose .
  8. Choose .
  9. Choose Interval ® Transport.
  10. In the dialog box, choose Yes.
  11. In the dialog box, choose .
  12. In the Transport intervals dialog box, choose .

    13. The system confirms that the notification type has been included in correction XXXX.

  13. Choose until the Customizing: Execute Project screen appears.
