Supply of
External Data to the Substitutions Infotype (2003) 
Use
A new, standardized interface (BAPI) is available from this release. You can use it to supply Time Management with data on individual employees' operative planned working times. The data is recorded in an external customer-specific application and transferred to the interface tables PTEX2003GEN and PTEX2003SPEC using method InsertWithCostAssignment of business object PTMgrExtWorkSched.
Report RPTEXTPT (Transfer External Data -> Human Resources) imports the operative planned working times from the interface tables to Time Management as data for the Substitutions infotype (2003).
Effects on System Administration
Schedule report RPTEXTPT periodically as a background job.
Effects on Customizing
You must maintain the ALE distribution model
before the system can call the interface. Refer to:
