You use resource networks to specify the sequence in which the resources are to be used in production.

In this process, you create a resource network, assign resources to it, and specify certain predecessor / successor relationships between the resources.

1. In resource network maintenance, you create a resource network (see also Creating a Resource Network).
2. You assign resources to the resource network. You can use a network graphic to do this (see also Assigning Resources to a Resource Network).
3. You determine predecessor / successor relationships between the assigned resources.
4. If required, you can display the connections in resource maintenance or in resource network maintenance.
5. You save the resource network.
