Assigning Resources to a Resource Network  

Prerequisites

You have created several resources and a resource network.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Production - Process ® Master Data ® Resources ® Resource Network ® Change.
  2. Enter the resource network and plant and choose Resource allocation.

    3. The Resource Allocation screen appears. Here you can select a resource.

    A list of the selected resources appears in the Assignments group box.

  3. Select the resources you want to assign to the network and choose .
  4. Choose Connect.

    5. A pencil appears as part of your cursor.

  5. Connect the predecessor resources with their successor resources.
  6. Choose Back to exit the graphic.
  7. Choose .
  8. If you want to assign further resources, choose Resource allocation and then New assignments in the change mode.

Continue as described above.

The assignments can either be displayed in resource maintenance or in resource network maintenance. You can only make new assignments and changes, however, in the create or change modes in resource network maintenance.
