Assign Career Groups to Specific Pay Scale Groups
In this step of the IMG, you can assign career groups to the pay scale groups defined in the system.
Example
You assign the career group Senior to pay scale group A10 of pay scale type Salary Regulations A.
Requirements
In HR Master Data, you must have defined
pay
scale groups . You must also have defined
career groups in the previous IMG step.
Activities
To assign career groups to pay scale groups, proceed as follows:
1. In the Work
Area dialog box, specify a country grouping,
pay scale type , pay scale
area and employee subgroup grouping for collective
agreement provisions (CAP grouping).
2. Choose
New entries.
3. In the
Pay scale group field, enter the pay scale
group to which you want to assign a career group.
4. Specify a
validity period for this assignment.
5. In the
C field, select the career group
that you want to assign to the pay scale group.
6. Choose
Save.
