As of Release 4.5A, you can create an 8D-report while processing a notification. You can submit this report to a vendor for processing. An 8D report is a standard form that is used in the automobile industry to document the correction of defects.
To create an 8D-report, you must the use the form QM_8D_REPORT supplied in the standard system.
