Flagging a Comb. Value Key for Planning 

Use

In order to maintain usage probabilities, you must flag them as relevant for planning in the planning profile.

Prerequisites

Create the profile in the pre-planning tables in Demand Management. See Creating Planning Profiles for Char. Planning.

Procedure

  1. Choose Demand Management ® Master data ® Planning profile.
  2. Select a material, then choose Change.

    3. A list of the planning profiles for the material you selected is displayed.

  3. Select the planning profile you want to edit, then choose Expand.

    4. The identifying titles of the planning tables and the associated combination value keys appear in a list.

  4. To flag a combination value key as relevant for planning, activate the planning relevancy checkbox.
  5. Save your work.

Result

When you activate a combination value key in the planning profile, the characteristic associated with the combination value key is considered during demand planning.
