Creating Planning Profiles for Char. Planning

Prerequisites

A configurable material must exist before you can create a planning profile.

The planning tables must be created in Demand Management.

Define the combination value keys.
Enter characteristics for use in planning profiles.

Procedure

Choose Demand Management ® Master data ® Planning profile.

Enter the name of a configurable material, then choose Change.

Enter a new profile name.

Choose Expand ® New Entry.

Enter the names of the planning tables you need for characterisitcs planning. These names identify the planning table for use in Demand Management.

Result

The planning tables contain the combination value keys that you defined in Variant Configuration. You can now flag these combination value keys as relevant to planning or not. See Flagging a Comb. Key as Relevant for Planning.
