Time Evaluation with SAP HR  

Purpose

You implement time evaluation with the SAP HR System in retail stores if you need different working time orders, or if you need all of the information from all retail stores to be displayed in one single view. The latter is often required if an employee works in more than one retail store. Only the head office has access to the data required to completely calculate the standard working time and overtime of an employee.

Time wage types are generated on the basis of time events.

You can integrate time evaluation in several business situations. Depending on the situation, time evaluation imports the time events in a specific way.

Prerequisites

Process Flow

  1. Start time evaluation (usually in a background job, run overnight). This checks personnel time events for completeness.
  1. Time Evaluation determines time wage types on the basis of configurable time evaluation rules. In the case of a collective bargain agreement or works agreement, Time Evaluation determines actual working times, based on weekly work schedules and absences.
  2. The results are then used for payroll purposes.

Result

You have determined time accounts and time wage types from time events.
