Purpose
You implement time evaluation with the SAP HR System in retail stores if you need different working time orders, or if you need all of the information from all retail stores to be displayed in one single view. The latter is often required if an employee works in more than one retail store. Only the head office has access to the data required to completely calculate the standard working time and overtime of an employee.
Time wage types are generated on the basis of time events.
You can integrate time evaluation in several business situations. Depending on the situation, time evaluation imports the time events in a specific way.

For the following SAP HR infotypes processed here, note the following:
Planned Working Time (0007): As no recurring working time is regularly applicable in the Retail industry, information from this infotype is only relevant to Time Evaluation. SAP CAMPBELL integration uses a generic planned working time for this obligatory infotype, and displays the planned working times in the SAP CAMPBELL StaffWorks weekly work schedule as substitutions.
Substitutions (2003): In SAP HR, each day in the weekly work schedule is displayed with one-day time substitutions, for each employee.
