Updating Scheduling Data in the Material 
Use
You use this procedure to update the scheduling data of a material master record. You transfer the scheduling results from the master recipe to a temporary file from where you can retrieve them to update the material master record.
You can also update the scheduling data in several material master records at once (see
Updating Scheduling Data in the Material Master Record (Mass Function).
Prerequisites
You have entered the material you want to update when you entered recipe maintenance.
You have scheduled the master recipe and are on the scheduling overview (see
Scheduling Master Recipes).
Procedure
Transferring Scheduling Results to Temporary File
On the operation overview or the scheduling overview of your recipe, choose Recipe
®
Scheduling
®
Results.
The Scheduling Results screen appears. Here, the scheduling data of the recipe is compared to the scheduling data of the material master.
Choose Update mat. master.
The scheduling result is transferred to a temporary file from where you can update the material master records.

Update Material Master.Enter the plant and production scheduler of the materials for which you want the system to select scheduling results from the temporary file and choose 
.
The system displays an overview of the scheduling results stored in the temporary file for the selected materials.
If you want to have a look at the detail information about the scheduling result before transferring it, double-click the relevant line.
On the overview, select the scheduling results you want to transfer to the material master record and choose Update mat. master.
The material master record is updated. The scheduling results are deleted from the temporary file.
- For one material, you can only transfer one scheduling result to the material master record. Even if you select more than one scheduling result for the same material, only one is transferred.
- If you have maintained a lot-size independent in-house production time in the material master record, this value is set to zero when you update the material master record.
