Assigning Resources in Hierarchy Maintenance  

Prerequisites

You have created several resources and a resource hierarchy.

You can assign resources to hierarchies both in hierarchy maintenance and in resource maintenance.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Production - Process ® Master Data ® Resources ® Hierarchy ® Change.

  1. Choose Resource allocation.

The Resource Selection dialog box appears.
  1. Select a resource.

On the Resource Allocation screen, a list of the selected resources appears. The system indicates which resources are already assigned to the hierarchy.
  1. Select the resources you want to assign to the hierarchy.
  1. To assign more resources, choose New assignments.
  1. Choose , after you have assigned all resources.

Result

The resources are assigned to the resource hierarchy.
