In the resource, formulas are used to calculate:

• Execution time
• Capacity requirements
• Costs

The section below describes how to access the screens on which you can enter the formulas for calculating the execution time, capacity requirements, and costs.

Formulas are defined on the Execution time screen area of the Scheduling tab page in resource maintenance.

Formulas for calculating capacity requirements are assigned to a capacity category in the resource. This is carried out on the Capacities tab page.

Formulas for calculating internal costs are assigned to the activity types in the resource. This is carried out on the Costing tab page.
