Planning scenarios represent self-contained planning processes and are used to administer all system activities in planning. You can create various planning scenarios manually.

Do this in Customizing for Merchandise and Assortment Planning.

A planning scenario consists of one or more planning steps.

Use planning scenarios to define the following:

• The currency in which data is to be saved (database currency). Planning data can, however, be entered in a different currency in planning.
• The planning steps that are to be found in the planning scenario.
• The planning steps to be linked.

Furthermore, you can define Office documents and graphics as descriptions in the planning scenario.
