Use this function to copy planning scenarios. Use self-defined scenarios or SAP templates (Best Practice Scenario) to create similar scenarios. This makes it easier to create new scenarios for the first time.

Planning scenarios are copied in Customizing for the planning scenario.

In the copy procedure, the following elements from the planning scenario are copied over with your entries:

• Basic settings for the scenario
• Planning steps with transactions and programs
• Plan characteristics in planning steps and sequences (and the planning hierarchy)
• Planning key figures and additional key figures for the planning steps
• Planning step links with transactions and programs

The following are not copied:

• Data in the planning hierarchy
• Plan versions
• Formula groups
• Office documents for the scenario in question, steps, and links
• Planning layouts
