Allocating the Budget 

Usage

You copy all of the planned costs to use as your project budget.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    From the Project System node, choose Financials ® Budgeting ® Original Budget ® Change

  2. Enter the following data:

  3. Choose Original Budget.

    4. In the Planned total column, you see the values copied from cost planning.

  5. Select the planned total column.
  6. Choose Edit ® Copy view.
  7. In the dialog box, enter the following data:

  8. Choose .

    9. The system copies the values from cost planning into the budget.

  9. Choose .

Result

You have now allocated a budget to your project, and you can begin the execution of the project. To do this, you need to release the project.
