Releasing the Project for Execution 

Use

The appropriate system status must exist for each of the business transactions you execute for your project For example, the system status Released must be set for WBS elements and activities before you can post actual costs to the project or confirm the actual dates.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

  2. In the work list area, choose Last projects processed.

    3. The system displays the previous five projects you have processed.

  3. Double-click your project.

    4. The system opens your project in the Structure Tree and in the Worklist.

  4. Select project definition Nellos.
  5. Choose Edit ® Status ® Release.

    6. In the work area, on the Basic Data tab page, the system displays system status REL. When you release the project definition, the system also release all of the lower-level project objects.

  6. Choose .

Result

You have now released all of the project objects, and you can begin the execution of your project.
