Network Structure Graphic Menu

The following section gives you a brief overview of the functions available in the network graphic menu.

Edit

Under the menu option Edit you will find all functions for editing activities and their relationships, as well as all settings that you could need for the activities, such as the set of dates.

You can check the (standard) network for loops by selecting the menu options Edit ® Functions ® Loop.

To obtain different views of activities, you can group them according to network or WBS element by selecting the menu options Edit ® Settings ® Grouping ® Network or WBS element:

When you group according to network, the activities are displayed in a frame by network or subnetwork. The network or subnetwork number is displayed in the frame and the WBS element is displayed in the activity.

When you group according to WBS element, the activities are displayed in a separate frame for each WBS element. The name of the WBS element to which the activities are assigned is displayed in the frame and the network number is displayed in the activity.

In both cases you can change the display and the relationships but not the assignments to WBS elements.

Goto

You can call up the different activity overviews by selecting the menu option Goto.

Details

You can call up the detail screens for activities and relationships by selecting the menu option Details.

Settings

Under the menu option Settings you can make all the settings relevant to the graphic, as well as for displaying graphic elements, for example, hiding the navigation area. You can open another window by choosing View ® New view.

For ease in editing activities, you can further limit the display area by choosing Settings ® Restrict area ® On. The display of the selected activities does not change. Activities that are linked to the selected activities by relationships are displayed as circles.

Extras

From the Extras menu option you can display error logs.
