Executing Loop Analysis 

Use

A loop exists, if relationships lead from an activity via other activities back to the same activity.

Networks and standard networks containing loops cannot be scheduled.

The system automatically checks standard networks and networks for loops when you schedule them.

Prerequisites

You execute loop analysis for a network structure in the network graphic.

Procedure

  1. Call up a network or standard network in create or change mode.
  2. Select the menu options Goto ® Graphic ® Network structure.

    3. The network graphic appears.

  3. Select the menu options Edit ® Functions ® Loop analysis ® Proceed.

    4. Relationships that cause a loop are highlighted in color.

  4. Select the relationship that causes the loop.
  5. Choose Delete.

    6. The relationship is deleted.

  6. To deselect a loop, select the menu options Edit ® Functions ® Loop analysis ® Reset.
  7. To return to the network or standard network, choose Enter.
