Entering Downtimes for Days 

Use

You can use this procedure to enter durations of downtimes for days.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources ® Reporting ® Enter Downtime ® Enter Downtime.
  2. The Enter Downtimes screen appears.

  3. Enter the resource for which you want to enter downtimes and its plant. If shifts are defined for the resource, also enter a shift number.
  4. Define a calculation schema for the downtime default values for the resource, if you have not already done so.
  5. Choose . The system transfers the downtime elements and the default values from the SAP System to the tables.
  6. If you want to change the time unit, choose Extras ® Change time unit. The unit for the duration of the downtimes is displayed in the upper screen area.
  7. Choose to enter the downtimes. Enter the corresponding downtimes in the second table.
  8. The system cannot display overlaps between two downtimes (for example, setup at the same time as repair). In this case, both downtimes must be entered in halves, for example.

  9. You can enter a description of the downtime. To do this, double-click the corresponding field in the Long text table column to call up the text editor, enter the text, and then save it. symbolizes that a long text has been entered. You can open the long text by double-clicking .
  10. Choose if you want to copy the default values to the input fields.
  11. You can double-click the default values to display their details.

  12. Choose .

Result

The sum of the downtimes is copied to each of the totals fields in the table. The times entered are saved and can be evaluated in LIS or in SAP BW.
