Lockout/Tagout 

Purpose

This process consists of orderly tagging and subsequent untagging of technical objects, so that maintenance work and tests at technical objects can be performed safely.

To create safe conditions before work starts and ensure they remain so during the work on the technical system, you should observe the following five safety rules:
