Delete Status Tables and Change Pointers 

Use

Use this procedure to remove unnecessary POS interface - outbound and assortment list data from your SAP System. Examples of this type of data are status lines from logs, change pointers, relevant log records, and IDocs. For further information, see Delete Status Tables and Change Pointers.

Procedure

  1. From the main menu for SAP Retail, choose:
  1. To re-organize the POS interface, select Reorg POS interface. To re-organize the assortment list, select Reorg assortment list.
  2. If you want to suppress the re-organization of IDocs, select Do not delete IDocs.
  3. Choose Execute.
  4. A message then appears indicating the number of entries that were selected.

  5. If you do not want to view these entries, select Header entries ® View select. entries.
  6. If you want to delete the entries, select Delete.
  7. To delete change pointers that are flagged for deletion, choose Periodic work ® Reorganization ® Change pointers in the administration menu of the ALE menu.
