Assigning Downtime Elements to Capacity Categories 

Use

You want to determine default values for the duration of downtimes. To do this, you must first assign downtime elements to capacity categories that are relevant for your enterprise.

Prerequisites

You have already defined the downtime elements relevant for planning.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources ® Reporting ® Enter Downtime ® Assign Downtime Elements.

    2. The Change View "Downtime for Capacity Category": Overview screen appears.

  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter a capacity category and assign a downtime element to it. Repeat the procedure if you want to assign other downtime elements.
  4. Choose .

Result

You have assigned the downtime elements to the relevant capacity categories.

If you define the calculation schema for downtime default values, you can use the capacity categories assigned there to determine the default values for each downtime element.
