With the transactional app My Tasks, you can create, edit, display, delete, and search for tasks. This app is available for use on desktop PCs or mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. You can also use the app in offline mode.

Key Features

  • Display all your tasks and search for tasks by keyword

  • Display the key data of a task, such as account, due date, and status

  • Display the complete data of a task, such as notes, attachments, and transaction history

  • Create, edit, and delete tasks

    • Create tasks of different transaction types

    • Change task status to private to prevent others from viewing a task

    • Check a task checkbox to set its status to completed

  • Add, edit, and delete notes and attachments of a task

  • Create follow-up tasks, opportunities, and appointments

  • Filter tasks by status or due date

    Filtering tasks by Due Today or Due This Week, setting the due date, and displaying overdue tasks may not function correctly if the user time zone in the backend does not match the browser time zone in the frontend.

  • Assign a task to an employee responsible

  • Use the app in offline mode

Offline Use on Mobile Devices

The following restrictions apply when you use the app in offline mode:

  • You cannot create new tasks or edit task data.

  • You cannot upload attachments.

  • You cannot create follow-up tasks, opportunities, or appointments.

Note If you want to deploy the app for offline use, you need to implement and configure it, then package it for installation on mobile devices. For more information about packaging, see Preparing SAP Fiori Apps for Offline Use.
Technical Features

In addition, this app supports the following technical features and options. Some of these features require additional components or settings in your system landscape:

  • This app contains features based on SAP Jam. To use these features SAP Jam has to be integrated in your SAP Fiori system landscape. For more information, see Integrating SAP Jam.

  • This app enables you to upload documents. For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you install a virus scanner in your system landscape. For more information, see Virus Scanning.

Navigation Targets

This app enables users to access other apps directly (for example to display detailed information).

Linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

System Landscape Requirements

In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:

  • SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0 (11 (01/2016))
  • SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP CRM 7.0 (01 (01/2016))
Note If you want to implement the product on SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP CRM or a lower release, you need to install the software component containing the back-end components of the apps (that is, GBX02CRM 700) separately on your back-end system. This software component is delivered with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM. To install the apps for a lower back-end release, we recommend that you install both the front-end and back-end components with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM.
