A report that is generated from a report (SBR) directly for shipping.
The system uses the following criteria to select the appropriate report:
The
object
for whose report application the report was created
If the report was created for the report application
Specification master
(object
Specification
), for example, the selection is made according to the specification.
The following report applications and objects exist in the standard system:

The generation variant
The
generation variant
is assigned to the report template. The SAP system automatically determines all report applications for which symbols were created on the report template and assigns these report applications to the generation variant. In Customizing for
Basic Data and Tools
under
Specify Report Symbol Groups
function modules are defined for each symbol group, which then determine default values that can be overwritten for the parameter symbols of the report template when the final report is generated (see
Default Parameters for Reports
).
The language in which all phrases are already expanded in the report
The key date if you are using engineering change management
The SAP system expands all other data when it generates the final report. This data does not originate from the SAP components
specification management
or
phrase management
but from other SAP components, and completes the report. Data from other components could, for example, be:
Material data
Customer data
Data for the work area
Data for the person affected
Data for the injury/illness log

You can provisionally simulate final reports with specification references and check their layout (see Testing Layouts ).
The SAP system also generates final reports:
From
