Activities

To create mandates for a business partner:

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Master Data Next navigation step Business Partner Next navigation step Change Payment Data End of the navigation path.

  2. Enter a business partner and choose Continue.

The system displays the payment data of the business partner.

  3. If there is no IBAN, enter an IBAN or generate one using the Propose IBAN IBAN (Propose IBAN) pushbutton.

  4. Choose the Create Mandates Mandates (Create Mandates) pushbutton.

  5. Choose the Supplement Address/Bank Data Supplement Data (Supplement Address/Bank Data) pushbutton.

The system automatically enters the data from the business partner on the Payer tab page, and the data from the company code on the Payee tab page.

Subsequent changes to the address and bank data only result automatically in changes to the entries in the mandate if you have configured the synchronization accordingly in Customizing(see Start of the navigation path Business Transactions Next navigation step Payments Next navigation step Incoming/Outgoing Payment Creation Next navigation step Management of SEPA Mandates Next navigation step Enter General Specifications End of the navigation path).

If you want to specify your own different default values, define event 0572. The system specifies the default value for the vendor ID in event 0571. If you want a different value, implement a customer-specific function module for event 0571.

  6. On the Basic Data tab page, enter the status, validity and transaction type, along with the management data.

By choosing the Check Check Mandate (Check) pushbutton, you can check the completeness of the data entered.

You can use the Print (Print), Print Mandates Print Mandates (Print Mandates), and Place in Correspondence Container Delayed Print (Place in Correspondence Container) pushbuttons to print the data immediately or to print the data with the correspondence print run. For more detailed information about the options, see SEPA Direct Debits.

  7. Choose Continue.

The initial screen of the transaction appears. The system initializes the business partner data.
