You have created an urgent correction for a production system and exported the associated transport requests.

In your position as IT operator, you now want to import the transport requests for the urgent correction into further production systems.

Prerequisites

  • The configurations described in SAP Note 999944 have been completed successfully.

  • Either role SAP_CM_OPERATOR, SAP_CM_CHANGE_MANAGER or SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP has been assigned to you.

  • You are in change mode.

  • The transport requests for an urgent correction have been exported successfully.

  • You have double-clicked on and selected the urgent correction in question in the Service Desk (  SAP Easy Access   Change Documents   Change Documents for Processing by Me  ).

Procedure

  1. Make sure that your user is entered in the Current Processor field.

  2. Choose the symbol with the Actions quick info.

  3. Choose Distribute Urgent Correction.

    The system creates an activity with activity type Urgent Correction. It assigns the transport requests for the original urgent correction to this activity.

  4. Choose the symbol with the Actions quick info.

  5. In this activity, you have the option of creating further transport requests by choosing Create Transport Requests.

  6. Choose the symbol with the Actions quick info.

  7. Import the urgent correction into the parallel production system.

Result

Further transport requests are assigned to the urgent correction and the transport requests from the original urgent correction. It is treated like a complete independent correction.

If a further transport request is assigned to the original correction, this is also copied to the additional urgent correction (parent-child relationship).
