Importing an Urgent Correction into a
Production System
An urgent correction has been tested in a test system. The test was successful and the urgent correction has been approved for import by the production manager. In your position as IT operator, you now want to import the correction into a production system.
· You have been assigned the SAP_CM_OPERATOR_COMP role.
· In the Service Desk, you have selected the corresponding urgent correction with the status Approved for Import (SAP Easy Access screen → Documents for Change → Change Docs. to be Processed by Me) by double-clicking it.
· You are in change mode.
1. Make sure that your user appears in the Current Processor field.

Choose
Actions.
3. Choose Import Correction Into Production System. (See Importing Transport Requests.)
4. Choose Save.
5. Make sure that no errors are displayed (see Troubleshooting).

Choose
Actions.
7. Choose Go To Task List.
Check the processing status of the task list.
8. Navigate back to the Service Desk by choosing Back.

10. Choose Log On To System.
11. In the production system, check whether the import was successful by checking the transport logs.
12. Choose Back.
13. If the import caused errors or did not solve the original problem, reset the status of the urgent correction to In Development by choosing Actions → Reset to “In Development”.
· If the import caused errors, the status of the urgent correction is now In Development. Corrections have to be made and then the urgent correction can be tested again.
· If the import was successful, the status of the urgent correction is now Productive. The status of the change request is Realized. The requester now has to confirm the urgent correction.
