Suggested Selling is used to maintain a list of suggested items for sale when specific items are sold at the POS. If an item in a sale transaction is linked to suggested selling items, a list of suggested items displays for the cashier from which to choose. The cashier can select 1 or multiple suggested items from the list and add it to the sale transaction, or ignore the selection process by choosing Done.

A maximum of 10 items are suggested but the POS may not display all 10 items at the same time, so the cashier must page down by selecting the Next and Previous menu buttons to see the full list. The X of Y indicator indicates how many items have already been selected and the total number of suggested items.

The component SAP Suggested Sell 1.0 must be enabled in the Code Maintenance window of the Configurator. If this component is not enabled, then Suggested Selling functionality will not be available. For more information, see External Components.
