TREX Admin Tool (Standalone)Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

The TREX admin tool (standalone) is used to configure and monitor TREX. This tool is a standalone program that you can use to administrate TREX independently of the application to which it is connected. You can use this tool on all operating system platforms on which TREX can run.

Caution

The TREX admin tool (stand-alone) has a basic mode with limited functions and an advanced mode with the complete functions. When you switch from basic mode to advanced mode in the admin tool, the following warning appears for your attention:

Switching to advanced mode will show more topics and more features than within standard topics. The advanced features are not all fully documented and are intended for SAP support only.

Features

The graphic below displays the structure of the TREX admin tool.

The menu bar contains general functions that you can use to terminate the TREX admin tool or go to a required area, for example. The functions contained in the menu bar depend on the window that is currently active.

The TREX admin tool consists of several areas. Each area can contain several windows. The navigation bar allows you to quickly move to a window in the area in question. You can also use the Topic menu to move to another window.
