Creating an Offline Presentation
You can create an offline presentation of a training course with this procedure. You use offline presentations for viewing and presenting courses in situations where you do not have access to the SAP system of SAP KW or if you frequently want to present a particular course.
Offline presentations are created in a special file format (KEP) that can be viewed with the SAP KW Viewer presentation tool.
You are in the SAP system of SAP KW.
SAP KW Viewer must be installed on the PC on which you want to create the offline presentation.
To create an offline presentation:
...
1. Select a structure on the initial screen of SAP KW.
2. Choose Structure ® Training ® Create offline presentation.
3. In the following dialog box, choose if you just want to create the presentation or if you want to create and view it immediately. Choose Continue.
4. In the following dialog box, enter the directory and file name for the offline presentation file.
5. Choose Save.
A dialog box indicating the path under which the presentation file was created is displayed.
If you chose to view the presentation immediately, SAP KW Viewer is started and the presentation is opened.
6. Choose Enter to acknowledge the system message in the dialog box.

You can also create an offline presentation from the info object list (Info Object ® Miscellaneous ® Create Offline Presentation).
The offline presentation file (*.KEP) is stored under the path you specified.
Depending on the settings you chose for the display of info objects, the offline presentation contains either the current versions of the info objects regardless of their status or the most recent versions that have status Released. You can change the settings for the display of info objects on the initial screen, in the info object list, and while online editing in SAP KW.
