Enabling User Collaboration
In the Enabling User Collaboration scenario, you are responsible mainly for performing tasks in virtual rooms as a power user. You can also perform a few tasks outside of rooms, for example, creating polls.
The Collaboration in Virtual Rooms and Ad-Hoc Collaboration scenario variants have been performed.
SAP delivers predefined portal roles that give you permission to access certain tasks within the scenario variants named above.
Your system administrator has assigned you the following portal roles for performing the power user tasks:

Below is an overview of the tasks that you can perform as a power user in the Enabling User Collaboration scenario:

You create rooms to make them available for other portal users. Two scenarios are possible here, depending on the organization in your company: · You create rooms on request. You do not work on the content in the rooms you have created. · You create the rooms that you require for your project work and work on their content. |

After the initial creation of a room, you can change certain settings that were configured during creation and change the room to suit your current working situation. |

You can define relationships from a room to rooms that are related to the same topic. |

Cross-room administration tasks include locking and hiding rooms. |

You can create and edit one-off meetings. |

You can create and edit series of meetings. |

You can check and approve new forum content before putting it in a forum and making it visible for participants in the forum. |

You can create and moderate discussions and discussion groups inside and outside rooms. |

You can create polls that other portal users can participate in. |

You use XML forms to create and publish documents that have a common structure, such as news or FAQs. |
