Manual Load Building 
Use
Load building allows you to manually combine existing purchase orders. The system supports you in the following:
- Combining purchase orders as required
- Combining existing purchase orders and purchase orders for promotions
- Processing purchase orders generated in automatic load building but not yet released
- Releasing purchase orders
- Displaying optimized purchase orders
You can also use the manual load building functions for vendors not participating in the automatic load building procedure.

This transaction can only be used by users with the authorization M_BEST_EKO.
Features
Unlike automatic load building, manual load building can be used for ordering goods from several vendors in the one purchase order. If you use your own means of transport, you can use restriction profiles not specific to any vendor.
- Manual load building is used to combine purchase orders issued to different vendors for different recipients. The following cases are possible:
- One vendor, one distribution center
A vendor delivers the merchandise for several purchase orders in the one truck to a distribution center.
This results in lower transport costs and better purchase prices simply by making full use of the scaled conditions granted by the vendor.
- Several vendors, one distribution center
Your own company truck drives around all the vendors in the Boston area and brings the goods to one distribution center in New York.
This reduces transport costs. However, the smaller quantities mean that you cannot achieve any better conditions.
- One vendor, several distribution centers
A Boston vendor delivers a truck full of goods to several distribution centers in New York.
This results in lower transport costs and better purchase prices simply by making full use of the scaled conditions granted by the vendor.
- Several vendors, several distribution centers
Your own company truck drives around all the vendors in the Boston area and brings the goods to several distribution centers in New York.
This reduces transport costs. However, the smaller quantities mean that you cannot achieve any better conditions.
- You can include fields you define yourself in the processing list for manual load building. User exit EXIT_SAPLWVLB_008 is available for this. The following additional fields are allowed at most:
- 5 fields for texts
- 5 fields for indicators
- 5 field combinations for value and currency
- 5 field combinations for quantity and unit of measure
- You can include a maximum of two self-defined additional pushbuttons fields in the processing list for manual load building. User exit EXIT_SAPLWVLB_009 is available for this.
- The system can calculate whether a purchase order on its own meets the restriction profile defined for a vendor. On the selection screen of manual load building, you can specify that the system should only take these purchase orders into account.
- You can go directly from the processing list of manual load building to an additional screen and display the vendor service level.
