Cancelling a Stability StudyWhen you cancel a stability study, you terminate all activities in the study usually before all tests have been completed. The system then responds as follows:
It sets the user status
CANC
(cancelled) in the study, which is documented as a task in the study. This status cannot be revoked and it prevents any other user statuses from being set in the study.
It locks the testing schedule.
It locks all physical samples that belong to the study (initial sample and all stability samples).
From the
SAP Easy Access
menu, choose
.
The initial screen for changing a stability study appears.
On the initial screen, enter the key of the stability study you want to process and then choose
Enter
.
The screen for changing the stability study data appears.
In the action box on the right side of the screen, choose the follow-up function
Cancel Stability Study
.
A dialog box appears, asking you whether or not you want to cancel the stability study.
Choose
Yes
.
The dialog box is closed and the change screen for the stability study reappears.
The testing schedule and all physical samples belonging to the stability study are locked and the status
CANC
is set in the stability study. All inspection lots that were created for the study that are:
Not being processed and have not been completed, must be cancelled
Being processed must be completed by means of a usage decision (that is, any open inspection characteristics in the lot must be forcibly closed when you make the usage decision)
As a final step, you can print out the storage removal list for all stability samples and remove the stability samples by means of a follow-up function in the stability study, or you can create reserve samples.
