Removing the Stability Samples from Storage

Use

If you have already completed or cancelled a stability study, you can remove the stability samples from the storage conditions. In doing so, you can maintain the storage removal data for the stability samples in the system by executing a follow-up function in the action box of the stability study. When you execute this follow-up function, you can change the following data for a stability sample:

  • Physical-sample category

You can only change the physical-sample category if the stability sample is locked (status LKD ). For example, if you change the category of a physical sample to a reserve sample, you must specify a physical-sample quantity and a physical-sample location.

  • Physical-sample quantity

The system automatically proposes the current physical-sample quantity. You can overwrite this quantity, but the value cannot be greater than the quantity that was stored.

  • Storage removal date

You must enter a storage removal date that lies between the storage date and the current date. The system proposes the current date as the storage removal date.

Note Note

For reserve samples, you do not need to specify a storage removal date.

End of the note.
  • Physical-sample location

When you remove the stability samples from storage, each stability sample that was selected for removal receives the status USED (physical sample no longer exists). The samples that you designated as reserve samples will receive a locked status ( LKD ).

Prerequisites

The stability samples to be removed from storage must be in storage and must possess the status LKD (locked).
