Copying Launchpad Contents to another Launchpad
When you create a new launchpad, you can save yourself time by copying items such as folders or applications inside an existing launchpad into your new one.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- On the SAP Easy Access screen, enter the transaction LPD_CUST in the command field.
- Choose New Launchpad.
- In the dialog box, enter values for Role, Instance, and Description and choose Continue.
- Choose Copy from other Launchpad.
A dialog box appears, listing all the launchpads in the current system and client.
- Choose a launchpad and choose Continue.
- In the navigation area, the existing launchpad (titled with the prefix Copy-Template:) containing the items you wish to copy appears alongside your newly-created launchpad (titled Customer Launchpad).
You can now drag and drop individual folders and applications into your new launchpad.
- Save your entries.
