Transporting Variables

Use

With the transport utilities, you can:

  • Export variables to external files

    The Export function allows you to export variables from an SAP system to an external file.

  • Import variables from external files

    The Import function allows you to import variables from an external file to an SAP system.

    Refer to Importing Variables .

  • Copy variables between different clients in the same SAP system

    Many SAP application components are delivered with example variables (stored in client 000). You can use the Copy from client function to copy variables from client 000 (or another client) to the client in which you are working.
