Configuring the Connection Between Cloud Connector and PCo (in DMC)

You use this step in the SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud to configure the connection and establish communication between the Cloud Connector and PCo.

  1. Log on to SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud using the same user for which the user Id was added as Administrator in PCo.

  2. Choose the Machine Model and Connectivity tile .

    The Cloud Connector screen area of this app appears.

  3. Choose Create to create the data for the connection between the Cloud Connector and PCo.

    The screen for the new Cloud Connector is displayed.

  4. Enter the following data:

    Description

    Name

    Enter the name for the Cloud Connector, that you have installed.

    Description

    Enter a description for the Cloud Connector.

    Location ID

    Enter the location ID of the Cloud Connector. This ID identifies the location of this Cloud Connector for a specific subaccount. (See also: Define Subaccount) under Configuration of Cloud Connector)

  5. Choose the Add button in the Assigned PCo Systems screen area to add data about the PCo system that is connected to your Cloud Connector:

    Description

    Virtual Host (URL)

    Enter the URL of the virtual host of the Cloud Connector. (See also: Mapping Virtual to Internal System)

    Name

    Enter the name of the PCo system that you want to connect with your Cloud Connector.

    Internal Host (URL)

    Enter the URL of the internal host of the PCo server.
