Enabling Filtering Portal Content by Desktop

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the Super Admin role or the NWA_SUPERADMIN role

Context

To enable the filtering of portal content by the portal desktop on which it is displayed, you must set the FilterbyDesktopView property to true . This setting enables you to use a filter ID string to tag a portal desktop, and then use the same filter ID to tag all the portal content to display in that desktop.

Procedure

  1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, navigate to Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Application ModulesEnd of the navigation path.
  2. In the Module List table, search for helper and select com.sap.portal.navigation.helperservice .
  3. In the Web Module Details table, search for helper and select navigation_events_helper .
  4. In the Portal Service Details table, search for the FilterbyDesktopView property and set its value to true .
  5. Choose Save (next to Web Module Details ).
