Filtering Content for Portal on Device
Use
Portal on device uses a filtering mechanism to determine the content to display on each portal desktop type. The filtering mechanism relies on the Filter ID (string) property, which is used to connect between content and the portal desktops on which to display the content.
Portal on device comes with the following portal desktops: Smartphone Portal Desktop and Tablet Portal Desktop . Each desktop is configured with a corresponding filter ID value: com.sap.portal.smartphone and com.sap.portal.tablet .
When you create content for mobile devices, you use the relevant Filter ID value to tag all the content to display on the corresponding desktop.
