In the patient groups, you can determine a group of patients according to defined selection criteria by means of a selection dialog or a user-specific selection variant.

Features

The patient groups provide the following functions for determining patients:

  • Selection dialog to determine a group of currently admitted patients

    To determine a group of admitted patients, you can enter the following selection criteria:

    • Department

    • OUs with Indicators

      You can use the OUs with Indicators field to restrict a department to the organizational units which have the Nursing Assignment indicator.

    • Treatment / Nursing Organizational Unit

    • Current Date

    In addition, you can enter the following criteria to exclude:

    • Department

    • Treatment / Nursing Organizational Unit

    The system determines the patients to the day using the date specified in the movement data. When determining the currently admitted patients, the system takes into account the following movements with the status actual or planned:

    • Admissions

    • Transfers

    • Outpatient Visits

  • Selection dialog to determine a group of discharged patients

    To determine a group of discharged patients, you can enter the following selection criteria:

    • Department

    • OUs with Indicators

      You can use the OUs with Indicators field to restrict a department to the organizational units which have the Nursing Assignment indicator.

    • Treatment / Nursing Organizational Unit

    • Current Date

    • Days Back

    In addition, you can enter the following criteria to exclude:

    • Department

    • Treatment / Nursing Organizational Unit

    The system calculates the selection period to the day using the number of days in the Days Back field, starting from the specified current date. Within the selection period, the system determines the patients according to the date specified in the movement data. When determining the data, the system takes into account the following movements with the status Ist:

    • Discharges

    • Transfers

  • Restrict the selection to control the number of search results to take into account

    If you do not want to restrict the number of search results, you can deselect the Maximum Number of Hits (Maximum Number of Hits) checkbox.

  • Management of selection variants to save user-specifically entered selection criteria and criteria to exclude and make them available in the dropdown list of the selection dialog.

    To save a selection variant for entered selection criteria, specify a name in the Save As field and choose Save (Save).

  • Presetting of the Dept.OU and Trtmt OU / Nurs. OU fields in the selection dialog by means of user-related parameters
