Views and Displays in Patient Groups
The Patient Groups component provides different functions for displaying patient data and information. For example, the system displays the assignment of the determined patients to rooms and beds of a care unit graphically or in a list.
Prerequisites
To use the views and displays, you must have selected a group of patients. For more information, see Determining Patients Using Selection Dialog.
Features
You can configure the patient data view with the following functions:
Card View
In the card view, the system displays the patients' names and key information on patient cards, for example, birthdate, sex, diagnoses, allergies and risk factors. If a patient has several cases in the selected period, the system displays a patient card for each case. To resize the patient cards, you can choose from five different settings in this view via buttons or Ctrl + mouse wheel.
NoteNote that the card size can influence the number of patient cards that can be displayed simultaneously. The card size determines the amount of information displayed on a patient card.

You can use the list view as an alternative to the card view. For each patient, the system displays the patient card data and a wide range of other information in tabular form.
Room View
In the room view, the system graphically displays for each determined patient the assignment to the treatment/nursing organizational unit (OU) and to the building unit (BU).
Department View
In the department view, the system graphically displays for the determined patients the assignment to a departmental OU, to the lower-level treatment/nursing OU and to the BU.
Filter View/Complete View
If you have selected a filter, you can choose between the filter view and the complete view in the card view and in the list view. In the complete view, the system highlights in color all patient to which the filter applies. In the filter view, the system additionally hides all patients to which the selected filter does not apply. For more information, see Filters in Patient Groups
Display information dependent on its amount
The system chooses the display of information for a field dependent on its amount, for example as a figure. If a field contains more data than can be simultaneously displayed, the system lists the individual information items in the quick info text. If you click the field, the system additionally displays the detailed information.
Example
In the department view, if a bed has multiple occupancy, the system displays the number of patients assigned. In the quick info text, the system displays the patients' names and case numbers in a list. If you click the bed, the system opens a dialog box and displays the patient cards of the assigned patients.
