You use the configuration functions to assign a configuration of the patient profile to users or roles. In addition, you can edit the configuration of the patient profile and manage the configuration of the applications.

Activities

To use the patient profile, you must assign a configuration to users or roles in Customizing. You can find information on this in Customizing under Start of the navigation path SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Component Clinical System Next navigation step Smart UI Next navigation step Patient Profile Next navigation step Assign Configuration to Users/Roles End of the navigation path.

To edit the configuration of the patient profile and manage the configuration of the applications, you make settings in Customizing. For information about this, see:

To use the patient profile from the Clinical Work Station, include the Open Patient Profile (Open Patient Profile) pushbutton with the function code N1IPC1 from the function selection for the following view types:

  • Occupancy

  • Arrivals

  • Departures
