You can display the following values in table diagrams:

  • Numerical and alphanumerical vital signs

  • Numerical and alphanumerical values from customer-specific data sources

The quantity of information displayed in each table cell depends on the following conditions:

  • The quantity of values available in the corresponding time period, or for the grid of the time ruler

  • The number of lines determined in Customizing

  • The selected zoom level of the graph

Prerequisites

For Smart Chart to display a table diagram, the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • You created chart elements in Customizing for the Vital Signs (Table Diagram) or Customer-Specific Data Source for Table Diagrams data source and combined them in a chart layout.

  • When you launched Smart Chart you selected a chart layout that also contains the graph for displaying numerical or non-numerical vital signs.

Features

The system offers two ways of displaying the values:

  • Display larger time periods

    For larger periods such as years or months the system displays the values using icons. Quick info texts for each icon display all measurement events of the grid concerned.

  • Display smaller time periods

    For smaller periods such as days or hours the system displays the values in written form.

    The line display in the grids can vary for day-specific time periods as follows:

    • Initially, the system displays the table diagram with the minimum number of lines stored in Customizing.

    • Where necessary the system adds lines until the maximum number of lines stored in Customizing is reached.

      If there is no space available to completely display the measurements, due to the high number of lines, the system displays the corresponding icon for the oldest measurement.

      Note Note

      The number of lines and the grid immediately change when zooming. If you move over the graph holding the left mouse button clicked, the number of lines will only update when you release the right mouse button.

You can display vital signs together as value pairs in a group graph for table diagrams. The system separates the values from each other with a vertical line “|”.
