Function documentationProcessing Orders

On the Process Orders page you can add the selected services with the required and optional information to the service ordering order and change the status of an order.

Features

In the Orders in Processing UIBB the system compiles all services with the same order type and the same order fillers and provides a summary of the selected orders. In the Services column you see the selected services. You can change the status of an order in this UIBB.

If you have selected several orders for processing, the system can transfer the stored data from one order into another. The system transfers the data into the orders which have not yet been processed or into the fields which have not been preset.

The processing of orders and their structure corresponds to the settings which you made in Customizing for the relevant order type.

The system creates the following areas for all order types:

  • Order Data

This area contains administration information such as the case number, initiator, order filler and the respective order number. You can use Change Order Data (Change Order Data) to make the following changes:

    • Change the name of the order to be created

    • Store a callback number for the order filler

    • Determine the employee responsible

    • Detach the order item from the case Detach From Case (Detach From Case)

  • Order Information

In this area you store additional information on the order or service, such as the status, localization or priority. You can use the Desired Date function to enter or change an appointment template for the order.

  • Furthermore, depending on the order type settings, the following application components are available:

    • Admission Data

    • Transport Order

    • Questions

    • Services

    • Surgery Indicators

    • Surgery Team

    • Radiology

    • Transport Type

    • ECG/Pacemaker

    • Cardiology

    • Outbound Connectivity

    • Cardiac Catheter

The following functions are available for processing service ordering orders:

  • Select Services (Select Services)

To adapt your service selection, add further services to your selection or remove services from your selection you can navigate back to the Select Services page. When you leave the Process Services page the system saves the data which you have already entered. The system displays information on this in the Status column in the Selected Services UIBB. From the Select Services page you can use the Process Orders arrow key to navigate back to the Process Orders page and continue to process your orders.

  • Check Orders (Check Orders)

You use this function to check the Order Data UIBB for completeness. The system displays the results of the check below the function toolbar.

  • Save Orders (Save Orders)

You use this function to save your entries. You can only save an order if, in the Orders in Processing UIBB, a green traffic light icon Orders free of errors (Orders free of errors) or a yellow traffic light icon Status change is only possible with entry in field field label (Status change is only possible with entry in field <field label>) is displayed. The green traffic light icon permits you to save the order in the next status.

  • Confirm Orders (Confirm Orders)

You use this function to set the order to Confirmed status and save your entries.

You can only confirm an order if, in the Orders in Processing UIBB, a green traffic light icon Orders free of errors (Orders free of errors) is displayed. A red traffic light Field field label is required entry field (Field <field label> is required entry field) indicates that you can only confirm or save the order once you have filled all the required entry fields.

You can find further information on confirming orders under Confirm Orders.
