Smart Chart displays physician orders for the Ward Documentation Work Station (physician orders for ward doc. WS) in event graphs. The system identifies each physician order status with an icon.

Prerequisites

For Smart Chart to display an event chart with the Physician Orders for Ward Doc. WS data source, the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • You created chart elements for the Physician Orders for Ward Doc. WS data source and combined them in a chart layout in Customizing for chart elements.

    For more information, see Creating Event Graphs.

  • When you launched Smart Chart you selected a chart layout that also contains the graph for displaying physician orders for the ward documenting work station.

Features

The system displays the following physician order statuses:

Icon

Status

<name of the physician order> (<name of the physician order>)

Created

<name of the physician order> (<name of the physician order>)

Confirmed

<name of the physician order> (<name of the physician order>)

Closed

The system displays overlapping physician orders with the icon <display of values> (<display of values>).

You can find more information on the individual physician orders in the quick info texts for the individual physician orders.

You can display information on physician orders in Confirmed or Closed status in the physician order log. To do this you choose the relevant physician order in the graph by double-clicking with the mouse.

Note that the system displays the physician orders at the time of the last modification.
