Procedure documentationAssigning Objects to One or More Health Problems

You can assign entered objects (e.g. visits, outpatient notes, clinical orders, etc.) to one or more health problems of a patient or change the assignment of an object.

Example Example

You have mistakenly assigned a visit to the wrong problem of the patient. You must therefore change the assignment of this visit and assign it to another problem.

End of the example.

The possibility of assigning an object to a problem or changing the assignment is available in the following functions:

  • Patient Organizer

  • Patient viewer in the documentation work station of SAP Ambulatory Care Management

Prerequisites

You have already created health problems for this patient.

See Creating a Health Problem

Procedure

  1. In the patient organizer or patient viewer select the problem to which the object should be assigned.

    Note Note

You can also assign the object to an inactive problem. The system displays a warning which informs you that the problem has Inactive status. If you confirm the warning you can move or copy the problem.

    End of the note.
  2. Keep CTRL held and select the object whose assignment you wish to change (which you wish to assign to the selected problem) and select Problem Assignment (Problem Assignment).

The Change Problem Assignment dialog box appears.

  3. Select Move Object (Move Object), to move the selected object from the originally assigned problem to the selected problem.

  4. Select Copy Object (Copy Object), to copy the selected object to the selected problem.

The assignment to the original problem does not change. his means that this object is assigned to several problems once it has been copied.

  5. You return to the patient organizer or patient viewer.
