In order to be able to edit health problems, various functions are available in the patient organizer in i.s.h.med and in the patient viewer in the documentation work station in SAP Ambulatory Care Management.

To call the editing functions in the table from the patient organizer or patient viewer choose the following functions:

Display Health Problem

To display the header data of the health problem, select the problem in the patient organizer or patient viewer and call the context menu (right mouse button). Select the Display function in the context menu.

You access the Edit Health Problem dialog box where the system displays the header data of the health problem.

The header data of the health problem are not ready for input in the Display function.

Select Hide/Display Inactive Problem (Hide/Display Inactive Problem), to display or hide inactive problems.

Change Health Problem

To change the header data of the health problem, select the problem in the patient organizer and call the context menu (right mouse button). Select the Change function in the context menu.

You access the Edit Health Problem dialog box where you can change the header data of the health problem.

Note that this function is only available in the patient organizer.

The patient viewer only offers a display function. You can make changes to the health problem using the relevant tasks in the documentation work station.

Set Problem to Inactive

To set a health problem to inactive, select the problem in the patient organizer or patient viewer and call the context menu (right mouse button). Select the Set Problem to Inactive function in the context menu.

You use this function to deactivate a problem which should be considered solved from a medical point of view.

If this problem reoccurs at a later time, you can set the problem to active once again, or create a new problem for the patient.

If you have entered many problems for a patient, it may be sensible to hide the inactive problems.

Select Hide/Display Inactive Problem (Hide/Display Inactive Problem), to display or hide inactive problems.

Note that you can also set User Parameter N1_NO_COMPLETED_PROB, to hide inactive problems as standard.

Set Problem to Active

To set an inactive health problem to active, select the problem in the patient organizer or patient viewer and call the context menu (right mouse button). Select the Set Problem to Active function in the context menu.

Select this function to reactivate (set active) a health problem which has been set to active.

Select Hide/Display Inactive Problem (Hide/Display Inactive Problem), to display or hide inactive problems.
